2013 APWA Washington Fall Conference

The goal for the APWA Washington Fall 2013 Conference is to link the policy makers with the people making it happen.

It’s time to gear up for Oktoberfest and the American Public Works Association (APWA) Washington Chapter 2013 Fall Conference to be held in beautiful Kennewick, Washington—the heart of Washington’s wine country. From Tuesday, 1 October through Friday, 5 October 2013, the conference will provide a variety of networking and educational opportunities for public works professionals and policymakers.

Conference highlights include lunch with keynote speaker Stacy Allison—the first American woman to summit Mount Everest—who will share her inspiring story of courage, adventure, and perseverance. Other events include an exhibitor-hosted Oktoberfest social with beer and bratwurst, an evening 5K fun run along the banks of the Columbia River, a 3-on-3 basketball game, scholarship events, and a golf tournament. The APWA Operations and Maintenance Committee will also host the Third Annual Equipment ROADeo, which allows participants the chance to demonstrate their vehicle-handling skills.

BergerABAM is a conference sponsor, so please be sure to visit our booth at Space 91.
