Marcia Medina Joins BergerABAM

Marcia Medina, PE, has joined BergerABAM as a project manager at the Federal Way, Washington, office. Medina has over 16 years of civil engineering experience managing and designing multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction. Her experience includes roadway, rail, mining, parks, commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Medina has designed stormwater treatment, drainage, and conveyance; utilities, erosion and sediment control; wastewater pump stations; and site grading projects for a variety of clients. Additionally, she has experience performing Phases I and II environmental site assessments and contaminated land remediation. Medina is experienced in liaison with clients; multiple government project stakeholders, such as Washington State Department of Ecology, Seattle Public Utilities, Seattle City Light, King County, and the Washington State Department of Transportation; subconsultants; and extensive multidisciplinary coordination with other consultants. She earned her bachelor’s in civil engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Medina is currently managing a reservoir retaining wall project for the U.S. Marine Corps’ Base Camp Pendleton in California.
