By carefully identifying and balancing project constraints with current and future needs, BergerABAM designed significant upgrades to this busy international airport’s main terminal building to ensure continuing operation and safety in the event of a major earthquake. The work was implemented in conjunction with a major expansion of the airport's terminal facilities and was phased to allow full operation of the terminal during the process.
