Whidbey Island, Washington
A design/build request for proposal for the construction of a new air traffic control tower at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station was tailored by the BergerABAM team to provide coordination with owners for government-supplied electronics and allow for smooth installation of equipment once the tower was complete. Significant user participation in the conceptual design process allowed controllers to address concerns and user needs.
