Kalama, Washington
Phase one of the Port of Kalama industrial park master plan provided for a landscaped and treed boulevard through the park, completing the paved access from the south to the north end of the Port and providing a third access point onto Interstate 5. Hendrickson Drive opened a new and previously inaccessible 75-acre area of the Port to industrial development, providing access for prospective industrial clients to drive through the park and view available sites.
BergerABAM prepared the road construction plans and specifications on a fast-track basis and provided administration during construction. The firm's communication and coordination with project stakeholders allowed the client to meet its aggressive schedule on time and under budget.
