The Port of Pasco, located along the shoreline of the Columbia River, has significant property holdings. The 110-acre Riverfront Business Park is the most immediately developable and marketable portion. BergerABAM worked closely with Port Commissioners and staff to create an updated development plan for the business park. Development flexibility was recommended as a key feature to encourage continuous long-term growth and development by proposing economic development catalyst tenants, such as high-technology manufacturing or assembly, manufacturers of food processing equipment, fabrication plants, commercial warehousing and distribution, and specialty manufacturing. BergerABAM completed land use and shoreline permitting to allow development and, to achieve the character of a business park, recommended landscape plantings to unify the area visually and provide a significant greenway view corridor and open space areas for unobstructed views of the Columbia River.
