Pendleton Avenue Road Improvements

Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington

BergerABAM serves as prime consultant for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ construction of a new urban arterial that will replace more than a mile of Pendleton Avenue at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) with a multiway boulevard. This replacement of the main thoroughfare through the heart of JBLM is one of just two multiway boulevards now being designed in Washington. BergerABAM is leading communication and outreach to military and civilian populations affected by the redesign and reconstruction of Pendleton Avenue. Outreach work includes development of project briefing materials for the JBLM command, creation of a Frequently Asked Questions project flyer for distribution throughout the base, conducting a communications analysis survey, designing and hosting a project web site, and coordinating the dissemination of information through existing on- and off-base communications networks.
