PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center proposed to build an 188,500-square-foot medical office complex campus with a freestanding emergency department on a 12-acre site in east Vancouver. Planned as a three-phase development, the Evergreen campus will relieve the growing demand for services at PeaceHealth’s central Vancouver campus. BergerABAM provided land use planning, public involvement, landscape architecture, and civil engineering services for the completion of design and construction documents for the three phases. The design included the extensive use of low impact development stormwater solutions, such as professionally landscaped rain gardens and dry creeks. Site improvements also included a new public road, surface parking, entry landscapes, a healing garden courtyard, and a wellness walk.
